Castel’Pro is made in France and designed by chefs for fast, precise, economical cooking. This set includes an 8" and 10" skillet with nonstick coatings called Exceliss+, which provide remarkable release and easy cleanup. The Exceliss+ nonstick coating is applied to Cristel traditional stainless steel products.

The base is blasted with an abrasive to roughen it and white-hot particles of stainless steel are then sprayed onto the roughened surface. The particles cool and harden to form peaks and dips that hold the nonstick coating permanently in place. The coating is applied in three successive layers, which guarantee both the toughness of the coating and its nonstick performance.

Castel Pro’s 5-ply construction places three layers of aluminum inside two layers of stainless steel. The aluminum provides exceptional thermal efficiency, with rapid increase and decrease in temperature for precise control. The top layer of 18/10 stainless steel is polished to a gorgeous shine, while the base layer of 18/0 stainless steel makes this cookware compatible with induction stovetops. This strong, durable cookware is surprisingly light, making it easier to lift and maneuver about the kitchen.
