To make the perfect pizza, spoon a few tablespoons of sauce into the center of the crust or dough and use the back of the spoon to spread it out to the edges in a thin layer, leaving a ½" border. Add cheese and toppings, and then bake according to pizza crust or dough instructions. Also great on pasta or as a dipping sauce for bread—just warm the sauce in a saucepan on medium heat.
